Your Tasks
- Analyze business and regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IDD), assessing their impact on insurance systems like policy admin, claims, and underwriting.
- Document business needs through BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process models tailored to insurance workflows.
- Translate insurance-specific needs—such as pricing, claims, and reporting—into IT requirements and support system design and integration.
- Leverage AI and data mining to optimize decision-making in underwriting, fraud detection, claims triage, and customer service.
- Support implementation of insurance platforms (e.g., core systems, CRMs) and cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory needs.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify and improve inefficiencies in areas like policy issuance, renewals, and onboarding.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in insurance projects and good understanding of industry processes (e.g., claims, underwriting, policy admin, regulatory compliance)
- Strong skills in process analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to work independently and in teams
- High IT affinity and interest in insurance technologies and AI-driven solutions
- Fluent in English; German would be a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5–6 times/year)
